The Barbers Of Smelterville.
released 01 January 1991
KURT played lots of guitar and made a few delicate vocal contributions. SCOTT played some guitar, piano, organ, and sang way too much. JIM played bass, a couple choise guitar "licks," and drums on "Tommorow's Gone." TAD did drums and sang too, but not at the same time. Produced by BUTCH VIG at SMART STUDIOS in Madison, Wisconsin, March 1991. Engineered By BUTCH and MR. COLSON(the genius behind Evoker). Photography by MARTY PEREZ. Art Direction by DOUG ERB. Thanks to: BRUCE3CECIL3LOUDEN for pummeling the piano coda on "Once In A While"; TINA NIELSEN for splendid idiotic Outfitting; JEFF from SPOONER for use of his Farfisa; BRIAN at SMART; JAN'S FRIENDLY BENNETT'S; JIMMY SILVA for good tunes; KIM FASTBACK for her Duff's bass; EAST SIDE DIGITAL in MINNEAPOLIS; LOUNGE AX in Chicago; THE DHARMA BUMS; VARIETY ARTISTS; and of course our benefactors at FRONTIER.
